930 Buckden Pike

The highest village in Yorkshire, Buckden has its own mountain. With grassy slopes and an easy ascent gradually gaining height as you traverse its flanks, Buckden Pike is a mountain not to be missed. We've camped on the summit in summer when the becks ran dry and also in late December when our waterproofs froze and darkness fell as we hunted by torchlight for a spring.
