889 Loughrigg Circuit

Delicate heath spotted orchid and golden bog asphodel brighten the wet marshes that encircle Loughrigg Fell, while Rydal Water has meadowsweet and purple loosestrife. And when the flowers have gone it's still one of the best Lakeland walks, while Loughrigg Tarn provides the foreground for one of the finest views of the Langdale Pikes.
