881 Litton and Cressbrook

Most dramatic flower in the Peak District, the early-purple orchid, blooms in profusion in Cressbrook Dale. And there are many others in this garden of delights for on a recent walk in late May we counted over eighty different flowers. Then if you're feeling adventurous there's the ascent of Peter's Stone on whose summit they hanged a man for murder.
