742 Mawdesley

Windmills are all the rage nowadays, but the one atop Harrock Hill burned down in 1880. Perhaps they should fix it and make Mawdesley even greener! It certainly is a marvellous spot, with views over the Fylde and Bowland Fells, but what we remember best are Mawdesley's beautiful gardens.
