"I've given up cows", said the farmer we met mending fences at Bradley Farm, but with nearly 200 sheep he's still a busy man. And, despite the M65, this is still lovely countryside. With reservoirs, ancient farms and villages, a canal and lots of animals, there's plenty to see - even llamas.
