Of all the ways up onto the Kinder plateau Ollerbrook Clough must be the easiest and the quietest. And in late summer it's also one of the most attractive, with a stroll to Crookstone Knoll through some of the finest heather in the Peak District. After climbing to The Nab to look down on Edale, a gradual ascent beneath the rocks of Ringing Roger brings you to the edge of the escarpment, then its an easy walk to reach your goal, another magnificent viewpoint to Bleaklow with the Woodlands Valley far below. Then, except for the short climb out of Jaggers Clough, the return is an easy stroll all the way.
