555 Cartmel Fell

Serendipity is discovering lovely things by chance and the little church of St Anthony, set beneath the slopes of Cartmel Fell, is where it happened for us. We came in Spring for the daffodils and instead found a churchyard gloriously carpeted with crocuses. But whichever flower greets your visit it is an enchanted spot and you can even bag a little visited Wainwright summit.
