"Hatton juxta Daresbury" sounds a very grand title for this little Cheshire village, where many houses date back to the early 18th century. Actually the name means the rather less posh "farmstead on a heath", but with a reservoir and a canal, not to mention Walton Hall Gardens, it's worth a visit at any time of the year.
