529 Easington Fell

One of the best views of the Forest of Bowland is from Easington Fell, the highest point between the River Hodder and the Ribble. Here the rare pink-flowered cranberry with its swept-back petals can be found; it is a nesting place for curlew, snipe and redshank while, among the conifers, you may glimpse a Roe deer.
