527 Pike Low

Our Bronze Age ancestors must have thought Pike Low a very special place for on the summit they built one of the biggest cairns in the Peak District. Low means hill or mound and until recently this heather moor above Langsett was forbidden territory. You still won't find many people up there but, if you like wild open spaces, you'll think it rather special too.
