"Raft building, climbing, abseiling and mountain biking" - sounds a great day out at Borwick. Unfortunately that's only for the youngsters at the Outdoor Education Centre. Mere walkers will have to make do with a stroll along the Lancaster Canal, where colourful narrow boats lie moored at the loading wharves. Then it's on through the pretty Domesday villages of Priest Hutton and Borwick whose 17th and 18th century cottages seem far removed from the rush of modern life, let alone team building exercises.
