One of the most distinctive summits in the Peak District, Win Hill rises spectacularly above the conifers that line Ladybower Reservoir. As a viewpoint too this is one of the best, though the reward is not gained without effort for the ascent via Parkin Clough is remarkably steep. But exercise is good for you and will add years to your life, then afterwards it's all gently downhill, with a final stroll beside the peaceful waters of Ladybower Reservoir.
