Looking for the next waymark is great fun when you're not yet two, but for our granddaughter Heather the real highlight of this walk was the ice-cream. Now where would you expect to find an ice-cream parlour in the Peak District? Certainly not in a farmyard. But using milk from their own cows the Whaller family at Blaze Farm produce gallons of the stuff every week. With a cosy tearoom in a former milking parlour the climb up from Wildboarclough is certainly worth it - even if you have to be carried some of the way!
