330 Hassall Green 2

From the busy M6 you may have glimpsed the little white humpback bridge that spans the Trent and Mersey Canal and been tempted to explore the waterway stretching enticingly into the distance. Well the canal is delightfully tranquil, the occasional narrowboat moves sedately through the water, the banks are a haven for wild flowers, while in the woodland in spring, you will see wood anemones and bluebells. Definitely this is a walk to get away from it all.
