If you don't like hills, then this is the walk for you! Here at Goostrey ancient bridleways and footpaths march, arrow straight, over the lush Cheshire plain, while shady paths lead past former sand quarries, now peaceful meres hidden by dense woodland. Then, skirting the village, best known for its gooseberry growing prowess, the walk continues through fields and woodland where the only climbing you'll do is over the occasional stile.
