Little Fell moved
From the latest batch of LIDAR
data it has now been discovered that the highest of the three ring
contours on Little Fell is not the northern one (667m spot height at
SD808971) but is actually the southern one (666m spot height at
SD808965), about 540m to the south. - which is about half a metre
higher. Although it's not a major move and only a short detour to
visit the new location, the name Little Fell only really applies to
the old location - the new location is called Sails;
However to avoid confusion we
have decided not to change the name in our list
