Matthew Myerscough and Michael Murray have just achieved the incredible feat of climbing all the Welsh
mountains in 33 days.
And this was entirely on foot! No leaping in
the car at the end of the day, this was serious get your head down day after day
continuous walking.
Matthew first got in touch with us back
in March, when he said that he wanted to raise money for Mountain Rescue who had
rescued him after being caught in an avalanche on Snowdon. He told us he
proposed to climb all the Welsh mountains and enquired about any previous
record. We told him about Ann Bowker who, in 1993, did the round solo in
35 days.
