Stickle Tarn, set beneath one of the most well known and loved skylines in Britain, is being offered for sale. The sellers are the Lake District National Park and the reason for the sale is simply that the government has, since 2010, reduced their grant by 23%
It'll cost you around £20,000 to £30,000 if you feel like buying it, but what can you use if for? The LDNP say "We have safeguarded and strengthened public access where it already exists and included other special conditions to protect the special qualities."
