During eighteen years with the Manchester Evening News we contributed over 900 walks.  A new walk every week with a double page spread of photographs has been very popular.  Alas we, and a number of other journalists, are no longer required by the paper (to save money).  Fortunately for our readers many of the walks are now available via our website.  Though we will miss our column, we can now be entirely selfish about where we go!
