The Countryside Council for Wales says that the Wales Coast Path is on target to open in May. So if you've done the Lleyn Peninsula path and wished it was longer, here's the prospect of 870 miles of walking, starting from near Chester and finishing around Chepstow. Of course a lot of the path is open already using existing Public Rights of Way, but the final few miles will be open on 8th May this year.
