There is a regular ferry service, in the season, of small motor launches on Derwent Water, which call at about half a dozen jetties. The boats circle the lake from Keswick in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions, making alternative starts and finishes for a variety of walks. To return up the lake in style makes a splendid end to the day.
