Eskdale Mill

Eskdale Mill is a water powered corn mill, which was in operation from the 16th century until 1920. The cornmill, restored by the County Planning Committee in 1975 and opened to visitors the following year, has a grain drying loft and was powered by an overshot wheel. It is in the little village of Boot, near the terminus of the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
