Enjoyment of Tintwistle Moor has, for a long time, been tinged with the uneasy feeling that you might be seeing it for the last time. But now Mottram bypass has been axed and lovers of the wild open moor can relax. So get up among the heather and dance a jig at Lad's Leap.
