Here's Delamere Forest with a twist! While most walkers stay within the confines of the trees why not venture into the surrounding countryside to Waterloo? You don't have to walk as far as Belgium, but this is where French prisoners lived after their defeat at the great battle.
 LOCATION: Seven miles west of Northwich START: Delamere Forest Park signed from A556.
