Set above waterfalls cascading into Panniers Pool there can be few finer places for a packhorse bridge than Three Shires Head. Here, in this wild moorland at the junction of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire, jaggers met and swapped stories as the horses drank their fill.
 LOCATION: Seven miles south-west of Buxton START: Leave A54 at Rose & Crown, then after 2 miles turn sharp right, signed Gradbach Scout Camp & YHA, to Gradbach car park.
