Heights Chapel, above Delph, was chosen in 2008 to star in a film about the Bronte sisters. This isolated place, built in 1765 but now standing empty, was to represent the church where their father was curate. Alas the film has not been made, though perhaps one day it will happen and inspire the congregation to return as well.
