"Where's the car park?" It's the sort of question you get asked on Thurstaston Common, for the area has a bewildering maze of little paths. Named after the nearby Domesday Book village, this is probably the most popular beauty spot on the Wirral, yet in the very extensive heath and woodland soon you are away from the crowds. But don't worry, you can't go far wrong and there will always be someone about to put you right.
