Problem Resolution
When you start Slideshow Manager a dialogue box appears which either asks for the Microsoft Office CD or says the source cannot be found and Windows Installer cannot continue.

If you Cancel the prompts Slideshow Manager runs, but will prompt again next time it is run.
This seems to happen if Microsoft Office is installed on your machine, but you have not yet run Microsoft Word (or possibly other components of Microsoft Office).
Try running Microsoft Word from that username; it should then ask for the Office CD and after installing some files then both Word and Slideshow Manager should be OK.
When attempting to save a slideshow McAfee Virus scanner pops up and warns you that a malicious script has been detected.

Now fixed in new version Download

It isn't of course a malicious script!  McAfee, and possibly other virus scanners, surprisingly object to the use of the standard Microsoft Visual Basic 6 method of opening and saving text files.

An updated version of Slideshow Manager will be released in a few days which will avoid the problem.  In the meantime you can either click to allow the action or disable Script Stopper in McAfee.
