The Peak
District includes more than 1000 articles and notes on landscapes, villages,
people and local and natural history. It also suggests things to do and many
places of interest to visit.
More than 100 walks are described in great detail, from easy strolls to
multi-day outings. Routes are shown on linked, interactive maps where features
can be clicked on for more information and walks in particular areas can be
selected.
With greater content than any other guide of its kind, this title features more
than 8 50
full-screen photographs and over 60 videos of Peakland scenes and pursuits.

Easy
search facilities are also available and selecting natural features gives you
details about them and their position on the map. Ten 360-degree scrolling
panoramic views give dramatic insight into the beauty of the
region.
The five default slideshows can be personalised with your own selections and an
on-screen logbook allows you to record full details of your days out. The
program also links to the Internet for further information on specific areas and
topics.
