JOHN and ANNE NUTTALL

LECTURES
All lectures are illustrated with colour slides and last approximately 75 minutes

WALKING IN THE PEAK DISTRICT
From its high, wild gritstone moors to its flower-filled limestone valleys the variety of the Peak District is immense. For those new to the Peak District the talk provides an aperitif, while others will rediscover old friends and see the area from a new angle.

THE HIGH MOUNTAINS OF THE LAKE DISTRICT
Throughout the year John and Anne take to the hills with their small tent, camping high and wild among the fells. They describe some of their experiences when exploring the highest of the Lake District mountains

THE MOUNTAINS OF WALES
There are 188 mountains in Wales (not just Snowdonia, but the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and the secluded mountains of Central Wales). John and Anne have visited them all and relate their sometimes amusing, and always interesting, experiences among the Welsh mountains.

WALKING ROUND THE LAKES
While fellrunners attempt to fit more and more fells into the day, the Nuttalls prefer to fit more and more days into the fells. This talk follows their two week walking tour of the Lake District.

THE TARNS OF LAKELAND
Scattered across the Lake District are hundreds of tarns waiting to be discovered by the unhurried fellwalker. With their small tent, and immense enthusiasm John and Anne have investigated every little speck of blue.

GREECE - A TREK IN THE PINDOS MOUNTAINS
From the depths of the Vikos Gorge to the summit of Smolikas, the second highest mountain in Greece, the scenery of Zagoria and the Pindos Mountains is magnificent. The talk describes a fortnight's walk among the mountains and high passes and the delightfully unspoilt remote villages of this region.
