20 Aug 2002 From: Mark Trengove Little Mickle Murton Fell Did a round of these three difficult of access fells on 1 July 2002 in aweful weather. Failed to find the summit of Little Fell in the fog and rain. Seemed to be far less evidence of discarded shells than mentioned in the book. Possibly the army have tidied up? A splendid wilderness area, and well worth a visit. We need to keep going to keep what access remains.
