There seems to be many hills that are known by different mames in different valleys, I suspect Carreg y Big is the appropriate name for this hill. The Pen y Gelli part may also be convenient for local farmers to differentiate between this hill and another local hill that is also known as Carreg y Big. I feel as if I've been put through the proverbial grinder of late and accused of many things that I do not even think, let alone say or commit to print. It's surprisingly comforting to receive a kind comment. Are there any more names of seemingly unnamed hills that interest you?
