21 Sep 2009 From: Avis Wilkinson Carnedd Gwenllian The official re-naming of Carnedd Gwenllian (formerly Garnedd Uchaf) will take place on Saturday 26 September 2009 at 2:30pm at the Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris. Alun Ffred Jones AM (Heritage Minister for Wales) and Dafydd Elis-Thomas (Lord Nantconwy, Presiding Officer of the Welsh Assembly) will perform the naming and welcoming ceremony. Light refreshments are available and will be served after the ceremony at £8 per head.
