Pete Roberts Obsessions I think the obsession bit starts to creep in after the first full round. For example when in England I am still trying to either visit tops I haven't yet made (now down to 9 and hopefully 2 within three weeks) or push myself to the limits Kirkstone pass to Great Dodd and back to Glenridding in a day. When at home in Wales I am looking for new routes and differnent walks as I look to complete my third end on end round. As for the humps and near misses yes they tend to get nibbled off when I'm bored as well but are there any more out there that we don't know about? How about Rhos in the Berwyns. OS mapping would say no but relatively inaccurate barametic readings suggest a near miss is possible and definitely more difference than the 50k mapping would suggest. Despite now workign for the OS I'm in the wrong team for undertaking survey work myself |
