13 May 2003 From: John Twidale Volme 2 : The Mountains of England Life after 50 (Well after !!) John & Barbara Twidale with Cocker Spaniel Annie (7) from Middlesbrough finally completed Volume 2 : The Mountains of England (NPR - No Go for the dog !) : First, Coniston Old Man 8.7.95 : Nothing in 96 : Started in earnest 1997 and completed 5.5.03 with Seatallan (restricted to weekends and holidays) Dog also climbed all except Coniston (She wasn't born). We and dog have also climbed Ben Nevis (twice), Snowdon and various other English Hills, Welsh and Scottish Mountains. Find we have only 64 Wainwrights left so that our next intention. An unforgettable experience and glorious adventure. Your book was invaluable. Thanks. PS : In addition to the various "completer" lists maybe one for dogs ???
