8 May 2003 From: david richards James Cain's 80th! A very happy 80th birthday to James Cain! Jim completed all the Welsh & English Nuttalls (including Pillar Rock) in August 2002 (see the very first contribution to this notice board).. and is still "going strong" on the hills. At a celebration lunch with his walking friends on his birthday (May 4th), Jim was presented with a copy of "The Tarns of Lakeland: East", inscribed and autographed by John & Anne. Jim's next major project is Lands End to John O'Groats (off-road wherever possible) in 2004. Any chance of dashing off one of your super guidebooks, John & Anne??
