Charles Leventon not to be taken too seriously ............ Whilst I maintain that I am a relaxed 'ticker' (first: Causey Pike '67/'68 and 3 remaining as at 19 Aug '02), I sometimes wonder whether I show symptoms of an obsessive compulsive disorder. Does anyone else have to visit all the highish bits of ground on an otherwise indistinct summit - even though John and Anne have carefully described the spot? Examples of such tops being Little Fell, The Dodd and Gwaun Lydan. Does anyone else have to visit tops that the Ordnance Survey assess to be just a few metres short - just in case a re-survey places one on the list? If you don't (either case) perhaps you should! |
