14 Nov 2002 From: Bill Lancashire Dangerous Fence on Arenig Fawr I climbed Arenig Fawr on 12 November by the route in 'The Book'. Conditions were very windy, clear at first but later poor visibility and rain. The fence followed up the ridge to the top referrred to in the book as a 'New Fence' is now in a poor and dangerous condition. The coils of rusty wire are all over the 'path' and difficult to see even in clear conditions. In the misty coinditions I was continually getting caught up in it.
