Re Craig Eigiau
I spotted this on the map a long time ago but felt that the 738 spot height was so obvious on the map that it wouldn't have been missed if it qualified (either "as well as" OR "instead of" the 735 top). Craig Eigiau is so close to home for me (and so easy from a 1300ft start at the car park) that I climb it regularly on a summer evening for the glorious view of Tryfan and the Glyders through the "bowl" between Pen yr Helgi Du and Carnedd Llewelyn (amongst other views). I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been! The bump at the 738 spot height doesn't even look as if it's as high as the top rock on Craig Eigiau, but appearances can be deceptive! HOWEVER, to answer this, I think that the key is the reascent required to reach the 738 from Foel Grach (or probably Carnedd Llewelyn). As far as I can see, it is not necessary to cross a 720 contour to do this and thus it would need to be proved that the col is no higher than 723 to qualify this as a top. Checking my photos and memory I think this unlikely but again stand to be corrected. There's no problem with the Craig Eigiau 735 top of course as two 720 contours are crossed in the short additional distance east of the 738. My photos and memory of the lie of the land again fit in with this. Hope this helps - you really need to study the map in detail to see what I mean!
