Myrddyn Phillips Eating cake & Hill lists I`ve recently had the pleasure of John and Anne`s company on a Welsh hill round finish atop Drygarn Fawr.Along with friends Eryl and Rita we ascended via a good track and a bit of tree bashing through a part of the Tywi Forest,a fast moving heavy shower gave way to sunshine for the summit celebrations.Anne surprisingly presented me with a cake which had my name and number of Welsh rounds completed on it,comically the 5 of fifteen distinctly resembled an s and with my name before it and the word round after it,it seemed the cake was passing comment on my ever increasing thickening girth.It was a great day with a descent South following the course of the picturesque Afon Gwesyn.
