2 Sep 2002 From: Alison Fox Completer I completed the 2000 ft summits of England and Wales in April 2002. I finished with Foel Meirch in the Carneddau. I am partially-sighted so I had no use of a car for nearly all of my walks. Nor, did I back-pack (lightweights like me can't carry tents on their backs).I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those caring hillwalkers who offerd me a lift as a hitch-hiked from the finish of my walks along the road back to a youth hostel or railway station. Anyone else trying to complete the mountains without the use of a car ? I've acquired loads of information which may be of use. Alison Fox P.s.
