22 Jun 2008 From: John Barnard New 2000 foot Hills in Wales?? Craig Fach (Map 115 SH635552) and Mynydd Craig Goch (Map 115 SH497486) are both marked with spot heights of 609m. However, if they exceeded 609.6m then the hills would be over 2000feet and their status would change. Leica Geosystems have very kindly agreed with me to carried out detailed GPS surveys of these hills to establish accurate absolute heights. The Ordnance Survey have also agreed to verify the data produced. The surveys will take place probably in August. John Barnard
