26 Oct 2007 From: John Barnard Mynydd Craig Goch I am afraid to survey this to find out if it is over 2000 feet is a non-starter for us. The best way to do this would be to do what happened in Scotland where the Munro Society joined up with Leica and the OS and did accurate height surveys ,using Differential GPS, of Foinaven and Ben Dearg to find out if they reached 3000 foot status. I am not sure if the same enthusiasm could be kindled for a Welsh 2000 footer but I would be interested for one!
