24 Oct 2007 From: John Barnard Y Garn (Glan Hafon) surveyed Both Eric hardman and Myrddyn Phillips visited this hill recently and confirmed ground approx 3 metres higher south east of the spot height marked on the OS maps at 608m. If this were correct then the hill would exceed 2000 feet. We surveyed this hill yesterday with Leica Level and Staff. The summit is a grassy knoll by the fence but only measured 607.8m using the 607.1m flush bracket on the trig point as our height datum. The OS seem to have incorrectly "spotted" this hill. The height at their Grid reference measured to be 604.7m
