25 Jul 2007 From: John Barnard Castell y Gwynt on Glyder Fach resurveyed Dewi Jones, Myrddyn Phillips and I resurveyed this hill yesterday using a Leica laser A8 measuring system. Although not included in the Nuttalls' list of hills, we measured the reascent from the bwlch to be 15.95+/-0.25m. This result is in agreement with previous independent surveys carried out by both Dewi and Myrddyn that the reascent is greater than 15m and therefore the hill should qualify for the Nuttalls' list. A new Nuttall over 3000 feet!!?
