John Barnard Bryn Gwyn and Post Gwyn Bryn Gwyn is quoted as having 14m of reascent from its bwlch between Post Gwyn. As this is close to 15m, Graham Jackson and I have carried out a detailed survey with Automatic Level and Staff. We measured the reascent to be 12.7+/-0.3m and therfore this hill will not qualify for the Nuttalls' list. We also checked the summit position of Post Gwyn. It is NOT the large cairn but a point 65m from it on a bearing of 250 degrees. We built a small cairn at this point. |
