8 Jun 2007 From: Myrddyn Phillips Recent Hill Survey (Part 4) John and Anne should be congratulated for pioneering their relatively recent on-the-spot surveys, as without this recent novel aspect of hillwalking and their resulting thoroughly researched and excellently produced English and Welsh guide books and accompanying hill lists, it is unlikely the dedicated few such as Dewi Jones, myself and now John and Graham would be involved in anything as remotely unusual and yet somehow fulfilling as lugging some form of measuring equipment up a hill.
